OUR FEATURED PARTNER
WESTFIELD CULVER CITY/WESTFIELD CENTURY CITY

Tell us a little about the KJazz and Westfield Concert Series at Century City and Culver City. How did the Series start and evolve?

The series started at Century City and in 2013 we decided to make it a “freeway series” and joined the sister centers. We had Jazz on Thursdays at Century City and Fridays at Culver City.

What do you think makes the concerts a success?

A combination of artists that fans hear on the radio, the opportunity to see them live for free and that there were two locations to catch a performance. It was really easy and accessible and the multiple week format made it something our customers could look forward to.

Why is it important to support jazz and KJazz?

Because it's a musical art form that needs to be exposed to younger people, especially with music programs being cut in public schools. The centers are the perfect place to expose young people to the music, and they love it.

What special events do you have lined up at Westfield Century City and Culver City in the new year?

In 2014 we will continue our music series and our outdoor summer movie series, along with Spring and Fall fashion events.
