Thursday, July 16th

This summer, the Long Beach Museum of Art presents “Sunsets at LBMA,” a free series celebrating art, music, and community on the third Thursday of July and August. On Thursday, July 16th, from 5- 9pm, KJAZZ, along with the Long Beach Museum of Art, presents “Ladies Sing the Blues,” featuring vocalists Francesca Capasso, Sharron Moore, and Pamela Franklin accompanied by a three-piece band with host Gary Wagner. This year’s exhibition on view is Positive Fragmentation, organized by the National Museum of Women in the Arts and showcasing over 180 prints by contemporary artists. Sunsets at LBMA is made possible through the generous support of Jordan D. Schnitzer and The Harold & Arlene Schnitzer CARE Foundation. More info is at lbma.org/events/sunsets-at-lbma.
