State agency dedicated to managing fire safety and emergency response across California. Focused on primarily on fire suppression, and ways to prevent, manage, and respond to wildfires. Cal Fire also works to protect the environment and the safety of residents across the state.

Alert OC is Orange County's mass notification system. By registering with AlertOC, time-sensitive messages may be sent to your home, cell, or business phone. Text messages may also be sent to cell phones and e-mail accounts.

Watch Duty
Watch Duty is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that alerts residents of nearby wildfires and firefighting efforts, evacuation warnings, and orders in real-time. Includes information regarding evacuation shelters, animal shelters, information centers, and meal centers available for evacuees and first responders.

FEMA financial assistance may include money for basic home repairs, personal property losses or other uninsured, disaster-related needs such as childcare, transportation, medical needs, funeral, or dental expenses.
It is not necessary to go to a center to apply for FEMA assistance. The fastest way to apply is online at DisasterAssistance.gov or via the FEMA app. You may also call 1-800-621-3362. If you use a relay service, such as video relay, captioned telephone, or other service, give FEMA your number for that service.

Animals and Pets:
Please consider donating pet supplies and/or help animal and pet rescues, shelters, and non-profits with volunteering or fostering animals. Many pet rescues are currently providing temporary housing for small or large animals and families, animal food and supplies, or help with animal transport. With so many displaced pets, rescues need help with intake, housing, feeding, medical treatment, and fostering so they can continue to help incoming animals.

Los Angeles County Animal Care Foundation (ACF)
In need of donations to support the Los Angeles Department of Animal Care and Control (DACC) and provide mobilization of resources and personnel to assist communities affected by the fires, and provide support of shelter, food, and equipment to keep animals and livestock safe at this time. The Foundation supports the LA Department of Animal Care and Control (DACC) through fundraising for animal and pet care, including but not limited to emergency response.

Free Ride Shares
Uber is offering free rides, up to $40, for evacuees to designated shelters through January 15, 2025. Driver earnings will not be affected, according to Uber.
