DESCRIPTION The most beautiful jazz and bossa nova songs & the exotic photography of Abril Blue!
Born in Nigeria, Douyé started singing in a church choir in Africa at a very early age. She also had a direct influence of her father, who was a jazz lover. Besides her professional career in Law, Douyé joined the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, where she became a vocal major. Douyé has a global approach to jazz, and she has produced three albums. In this special evening, she will be interpreting a selected Brazilian and Jazz repertoire from her two most recent albums: "Daddy Said So", and "Quatro. Bossa Nova Standards". Douyé will be accompanied by Angelo Metz (guitar), Mika Mutti (keys), Kevin McClellan (bass), and Lucio Vieira (drums). We'll also have a photography exhibit by Mexican artist, Abril Blue.
