A SNEAK PREVIEW of "Blue Note Records: Beyond the Notes" to screen in Los Angeles on May 5 at 7:30 pm with Grammy winner, master producer and musician DON WAS, current president of Blue Note in an intimate Q&A conversation with director Sophie Huber.

Blue Note Records, was founded in 1939 in New York by two music-obsessed Germans who fled Nazism. The most iconic jazz label of all time became home to Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, and so many more. Its current president, producer Don Was (The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan), remembers the glory days, while ensuring Blue Note’s growth and musical relevance. This film is a must see for any Jazz lover!
