Aneesa Strings is a powerhouse bassist, vocalist, and composer whose genre-blending sound moves effortlessly through jazz, soul, and R&B. She’s performed with artists ranging from indie trailblazers to music legends. With viral presence and critical acclaim, Aneesa is a rising force in today’s music scene. HourTheBand is a genre-blending force fusing the soul of R&B, the bounce of hip hop, and the shimmer of pop into a sound that’s both smooth and unexpected. Novena Carmel, aka "your friend in frequency," is a spirited open-format DJ and host of KCRW’s "Morning Becomes Eclectic,” bringing joy, curiosity, and a global perspective to everything she does.
