Angie G was born and raised in Los Angeles and began her musical adventure not too long ago, by following her true passion singing.
As a result of singing the Great American song book and promoting several jazz showcases, Angie G found her biological mother 4 months after starting her musical journey. Her mother is a legendary American jazz singer named Ann Mack. Angie’s great uncle Fred Robinson was the trombonist for Louis Armstrong - Hot Fives and Hot Sevens. He shaped jazz music, which is in her DNA. Jazz is a great part of who Angie G is.
Angie G is a natural born leader and singer with her own distinctive sound whose main influences includes Carmen McRae, Shirley Horn, Nancy Wilson, Natalie Cole, John Coltrane, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, and Louis Armstrong.
